Gio’s PBP Game Was On Point, NBA Trade Deadline Passes

Boomer and Gio
Friday, February 8th
Boomer & Gio found themselves in the radio booth Thursday night, as the Devils hosted the Islanders, at the Prudential Center - and the versatile radio duo made themselves quite comfortable.  The Booms couldn’t help but to be awed by what he saw Gregg pull off his first time in the booth, a listener even called in and told him to ‘quit his day job’, (luckily for us, Gio works mornings).  Despite an uncomfortable elevator ride, the guys had a thoroughly enjoyable evening in Newark. In addition to all of that, the NBA trade deadline passed and Anthony Davis is still a Pelican – and will apparently suit up and play for the rest of the season.  As for the Knicks, they didn’t trade Enes Kanter, instead they just released the defensively challenged big man and appear to be sticking to their plan.  So here we are, our first Friday without football, but it is a Friday nonetheless, so start actin’ like it.
