Super Bowl XXXIV MVP Kurt Warner joined Mike’s On to break down Saturday’s divisional round game between the Los Angeles Rams and Dallas Cowboys.

Francesa asked Warner if the running game could make the difference.

“I think Ezekiel Elliott needs to get 100 yards,” Warner responded. “If he doesn’t get 100 yards, the Rams probably run away with this. Gurley on the other hand, I don’t think it’s quite as instrumental that he gets 100 yards.”

Elliott rushed for 137 yards and scored one touchdown on 26 carries in Dallas’ wild card round 24-22 victory over the Seattle Seahawks. He led the NFL regular season with 1,434 rushing yards.

Todd Gurley punched in 17 rushing touchdowns to lead the NFL. He ranked third in the league with 1,251 yards on the ground.

Warner believes that the Cowboys have a strong chance of winning if they can dominate the line of scrimmage.

“I think there’s just some great matchups in this game,” Warner said. “You could see either side winning it. If the Cowboys can win the line of scrimmage and attack downhill, so Dak Prescott doesn’t have to hold the football and take big shots – I think they can keep this thing close and Dak has been great in close games this year. They’ve had a bunch of them, but he’s played as well as anybody. I think that’s going to be key.”

Warner also offered his thoughts on the Kansas City Chiefs taking on the Indianapolis Colts. Listen below for Francesa’s interview with Warner in its entirety:
