Trumaine Johnson Set To Play Week 10

November 09, 2018 - 3:24 pm

The Jets have already stated that rookie quarterback Sam Darnold will miss Sunday's matchup against the Buffalo Bills.

However the team is set to get one of its top players on the defensive side of the ball back as they prepare for their Week 10 AFC East battle.

CB Trumaine Johnson has missed the last five games due to a quad injury, but is scheduled to play against the Bills Sunday.

The Jets signed Johnson to a five-year, $72.5 million contract during the offseason.

In four games this season, the corner has 13 combined tackles, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery to go with one interception and two passes defended.

In addition to Johnson, New York will have WR Quincy Enunwa in the lineup for the second consecutive game.

Enunwa returned to action in Week 9 after missing the previous two contests with an ankle injury. The fourth-year receiver has caught 25 passes for 327 yards and a touchdown this season.

It's not all good news for the Jets though. WR Robby Anderson and C Spencer Long will likely join Darnold on the sidelines as both have been listed as doubtful for Sunday's game.
