Matthews, 29, was released by Tennessee last month after he left the team in an apparent dispute over playing time. The seven-year veteran has caught 228 passes for 3,147 yards with 21 touchdowns over his career. His best season came with the Titans in 2016, when he had 65 receptions for 945 yards and nine TDs.

The 15th overall pick of the draft in 2016 out of Baylor, Coleman, 24, had 56 catches for 718 yards and five touchdowns in two seasons in Cleveland. He was traded to Buffalo in August but was later waived. The Patriots have since signed and released Coleman twice.

The Jets announced Monday that Enunwa has a high ankle sprain. He is expected to miss at least a few weeks. Eunuwa leads the Jets with 22 receptions for 287 yards this season.

Gang Green's other top receivers are Robby Anderson, Jermaine Kearse and Terrelle Pryor.
