The Rangers busy offseason continues. The team announced Thursday that they have signed forward Phillip Di Giuseppe. The winger spent time last season with the Hurricanes and the Predators.

Di Giuseppe, 25, scored one goal and had three assists in 24 games last year. He also put up 12 points in 26 games in the AHL last season.

He was a second-round pick in 2012 by the Hurricanes. He has 41 points in 150 career NHL games.

The Rangers have more work to do this offseason, including trying to get an extension worked out with the newly acquired Jacob Trouba.
