Needless to say the incident did not inspire confidence about the upcoming 60-game season.

"We still have a lot more that we just don't know about," Mike Francesa said on Monday.

"We still have a lot of concern, a lot of question marks, and a lot of things to answer. And baseball showed over the weekend -- testing problem after testing malfunction -- it's not a good look. By their own admission, not a good look."

With fewer than three weeks until Opening Day 2.0, the Mike's On host and sports talk radio legend warned that the 60-game season, imposed by Commissioner Rob Manfred, could be in jeopardy.

"So, the time now is drawing near. The questions are getting louder, the uncertainty growing."
