WASHINGTON (WFAN) -- Patrick Corbin reportedly has a new team -- and it's bad news for both the Yankees and Mets.

According to multiple reports, the 29-year-old left-hander has agreed to a six-year contract with the Washington Nationals.'s Mark Feinsand reported that the deal is worth $140 million with deferrals.

Corbin had been a top free agent target for the Yankees, but the Bombers refused to offer him more than five years, WFAN baseball insider Jon Heyman reported. The Yankees are now expected to turn their attention to Nathan Eovaldi and J.A. Happ.
