The Giants’ front office and head coach Pat Shurmur were in complete agreement on trading star wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., according to The New York Post.

“Absolutely,” Pat Shurmur told The Post on Wednesday. “Everything we do behind the scenes, coaching and roster building, is collaborative.”

The Giants traded Beckham and defensive end Olivier Vernon to Cleveland Browns for a 2019 first-round pick, a 2019 third-round pick, safety Jabrill Peppers and guard Kevin Zeitler.

“My reaction is always the case with trades, it’s good for both parties,’’ Shurmur stated. “We feel good about what we got. We got a starting safety, we got a first-round pick and we got our third-round pick. We felt it was good for us and, because we were able to come to an agreement, Cleveland thought it was good for them.

“With regard to Odell and even O.V., it was business,’’ Shurmur continued. “I know from my standpoint on a personal level anybody I’ve ever worked with I wish the best for when they leave. I’m hopeful O.V. and Odell can go to Cleveland, have an impact and help their team win games. That’s where it’s at.”

Beckham signed a five-year, $95 million with the Giants in 2018. He was inactive for the final four games of the 2018 season due to a quad injury.

The 26-year-old receiver recently announced on Instagram that he’s going to take a break from social media.

“P.S.A. I love you all so much, for the ones that follow and support I thank u all for that. I’m takin an emotional, mental, physical/ blah blah blah vacation. I appreciate the love honestly but at this moment for the next couple of days I’m goin dark.
