Jets wide receiver Robby Anderson is reportedly generating interest around the league.

Listen to your team news NOW.

Anderson, 26, will likely be a topic of trade discussions, according to Bleacher Report's Connor Rogers. He led New York in touchdown receptions over the past two seasons. Anderson, however, has only recorded one touchdown through six games in 2019.

Rogers' report suggests teams were interested in Anderson's service last year, but Jets brass held onto the dynamic wide out. Anderson's contact expires at the end of the season, where he'll become an unrestricted free agent.

General manager Joe Douglas has the remainder of the week to decide Anderson's fate in New York. The NFL's trade deadline is on Oct. 29 when the clock strikes 4 p.m. ET.

As the Jets plummet to the bottom of the AFC East, the Jets may be forced to shift their focus to 2020. New York's 33-0 loss to the division-leading Patriots on Monday night dropped its record to 1-5.

Anderson is second on the Jets with 17 receptions for 266 yards — Jamison Crowder leads Gang Green with 298 receiving yards and 32 receptions. With Denver's return on their trading of Emmanuel Sanders, the Jets could stock up on picks for next year's draft.

Sanders was dealt to the 49ers in exchange for a third and fourth-round pick in 2020. New England bolstered its WR unit, acquiring Mohamed Sanu from the Falcons Tuesday morning. The trade cost the Bill Belichick-led team next year's second-round pick.

There's no indication on whether the Jets are willing to part ways with Anderson. If Douglas and the Jets plan to take advantage of the stellar draft consisting of a handful of standout receivers, Anderson's time with the Jets is likely dwindling.
