Former Yankees pitcher Kevin Brown has taken law enforcement into his own hands.

After multiple residents reported stolen mail in Brown’s neighborhood in Macon, Georgia, the retired pitcher took it upon himself to catch the mail thieves.

Brown hid in a neighbor’s yard while his mailbox was left ajar in anticipation of the alleged thieves. When a 15-year-old boy and a man attempted to steal Brown’s mail, he ambushed the criminals and held the two individuals at gunpoint until police arrived and arrested the suspects, according to the Miami Herald.

Brown made six All-Star appearances during his 19-year career, in which he played for six different teams, including the Rangers, Orioles, Marlins, Padres and Dodgers.

In 1997, Brown pitched a no-hitter and won a World Series as a member of the Florida Marlins.
