Coming off their bye week, the New York Giants had some very exciting news Monday as they begin practicing for their Week 12 matchup versus the Chicago Bears on Sunday.

Listen to your team news NOW.

Wide receiver Sterling Shepard was back at practice for the first time since suffering his second concussion of the season back in Week 5 versus the Minnesota Vikings.

Although Shepard is back for Big Blue on the field, he is still in concussion protocol. He was originally expected to return for the Giants' Week 10 matchup against the crosstown rival Jets but began experiencing symptoms again and was put back in the protocol.

Shepard didn't practice last week but he did stretch and toss around the football with his teammates on Thursday while in a helmet and pads.

The Giants selected Shepard in the second round of the 2016 NFL Draft. He signed a four-year, $41 million extension with the team back in April.
