The offensive lineman was leg-whipped by Eagles defensive end Vinny Curry. After landing awkwardly, Zeitler was carted into the locker room unable to put any weight on his right leg. Nick Gates replaced Zeitler on the Giants offensive line.

The 29-year old guard has started every game for Big Blue this season on what has been an underperforming offensive line. Zeitler was acquired by the Giants from the Cleveland Browns this past March for defensive end Olivier Vernon.

A first-round draft pick by the Cincinnati Bengals in 2012, the Browns signed the offensive lineman to a five-year $60 million contract in 2017, making him the highest paid guard in the NFL at the time.
