He joined Joe Benigno and Evan Roberts on WFAN to discuss the "NFL Top 100 Players Team" celebrating the 100 year anniversary of the league, the New York Jets, Sam Darnold, etc.

Eisen, just like Joe and Evan, is a huge Jets fan, making his appearance on the show a can't miss for all of Gang Green nation.

"The very rare tripleheader of mononucleosis, ghosts and toenails is something that you never see coming," Eisen said. "Can't plan for it. I just want the Jets to get through this season with Sam Darnold's psyche intact. Gotta get through it where he doesn't regress to the point where its an absolute mess that can't be reclaimed. Whether it is Gase who gets the chance to do it or someone that comes after him."

It's been a roller-coaster season for Darnold, who missed three games of the season from Week 2-4 after being diagnosed with mononucleosis. The team was 0-3 in that span.

"The unfortunate aspect is that this is a lost season because in the NFL the first five weeks wasn't any development other than him getting over mono and in the NFL when you draft someone in the top 5 at the quarterback position, you better win with them in their first contract because when the second contract rolls around, you're going to either completely rearrange your salary cap structure or make the decision to pay a quarterback who hasn't even proved himself yet in the postseason a poop load of money. That's the situation the Jets appear to be in right now."

"Patrick Mahomes and DeShaun Watson are on their first contract. That's when you have to win with these guys."

Rich also pointed to teams like the Dallas Cowboys with Dak Prescott and a few years back with Russell Wilson and the Seattle Seahawks, who won Super Bowl XLVIII (in Wilson's second season) and were within a play of winning back-to-back titles in Wilson's first contract.

Gang Green defeated the Washington Redskins on Sunday 34-17, giving them their second straight win and third overall (3-7).

"The Jets have a quarterback. Is he the guy because he torched the Redskins? Maybe. I don't know what I'm learning here. That's the problem. Year 3 is going to be a prove-it year for Gase or do you give Darnold a third coach in three years."
