The Yankees are welcoming back another one of their big bats Tuesday night, as Edwin Encarnacion returns from the injured list.

Encarnacion was placed on the IL on Aug. 3 with a right wrist fracture after he was hit by a pitch against the Red Sox.

The three-time All-Star slugger is batting fifth in the Yankees' lineup Tuesday against the Rangers. He is the designated hitter.

The Yankees acquired Encarnacion, 36, in a trade with the Seattle Mariners in June. This season, he is batting .240 with 30 home runs -- nine since joining the Bombers.
