Darnold Questionable For Titans Game, Bowles To Announce Starting QB Sunday

November 30, 2018 - 1:43 pm

FLORHAM PARK, N.J. (WFAN) -- Jets rookie quarterback Sam Darnold is officially questionable for Sunday's game at Tennessee.

Coach Todd Bowles said Friday he won't announce his starting quarterback until Sunday.

Darnold has missed the Jets' last two games with a right foot strain suffered against the Dolphins on Nov. 4. He was limited in practice Friday.

Josh McCown has started in place of Darnold. The 39-year-old McCown was dealing with an injury of his own, to his thumb, but he was full participant in practice Friday and no longer appears on the injury report.
