Eli Manning will start again for the Giants on Sunday in what could be his final home appearance with the team.

The Giants on Friday ruled out rookie quarterback Daniel Jones for the second straight week with a high-ankle sprain. Manning instead will start under center when Big Blue hosts the Miami Dolphins.

Manning started in Monday night's 23-17 overtime loss at Philadelphia, completing 15 of 30 passes for 203 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions.

It's unclear when Jones might return. NFL Network reported earlier this week that he was expected to miss two to four weeks, which means he could potentially be sidelined for the rest of the season. Jones, however, did practice on a limited basis Wednesday and Thursday.

Manning, who turns 39 next month, was replaced by Jones as the starting QB after Week 2 and will be a free agent after the season.

The Giants (2-11) are attempting to end their nine-game losing streak, which is tied for the longest in franchise history. At 3-10, the Dolphins haven't been much better this season.

The Giants also ruled out guard Kevin Zeitler (ankle/wrist) and tight ends Evan Engram (foot) and Rhett Ellison (concussion) for Sunday.
