Carson Palmer knows a thing or two about disgruntled wide receivers, making him more than qualified to comment on the Antonio Brown situation.

Listen to your team news NOW.

Palmer teamed with Chad Johnson (aka Chad Ochocino) and Terrell Owens with the Cincinnati Bengals. But the three-time Pro Bowl quarterback said they seem tame compared to Brown, whose antics earned him a one-way ticket out of Oakland this past weekend before he ever played a snap with the Raiders.

"He's in a whole new stratosphere of diva," Palmer told WFAN's "Boomer and Gio" show Tuesday. "And the baggage that comes with him is unlike any other. I mean, it's one thing after another."

Hours after the Raiders released him, Brown signed a one-year contract with the Patriots. Palmer said he doesn't think that's a good fit.

"I don't like adding that kind of chracter to that kind of team," Palmer said. "I don't think it's going to mesh well. I don't think it's going to jell. I think AB's going to expect to have 1,400 yards and 97 receptions and 12 touchdowns, and that's not how they're built. There aren't 97 targets for AB in that system. You've got to spread the ball. There's a lot of stuff underneath. He wants to be outside. He doesn't want to be in the slot, and I think that's what they're going to do is use him on all the crosses and all the rub routes and all the man-creation routes that they run with Julian Edelman and they were running with Gronk (Rob Gronkowski) all those years."
