Nimmo's Wife Tweets He's 'Healthy And Feels Great'

Wasn't In Mets Lineup Wednesday For Heart Testing

Mets fans got some great news on Thursday regarding Brandon Nimmo's health condition after he was scratched from the lineup Wednesday to undergo heart testing.

"I’m just gonna say it. Brandon is fine (other than wishing he could just do his thing & play!) The timing was inconvenient & has caused a media storm. He’s healthy and feels great, just have to be sure of these things. Hopefully we can get this all cleared up and move forward!"

She sent out another tweet afterwards to thank the Mets community for their support.

"So, with that being said. Thank you to all of those who have reached out and been so supportive. It really means a lot! Hopefully some new updates for you guys soon! I knows he’s itching to get back out there! #LGM"

Mike Puma of the New York Post provided more specifics on the situation, including some awesome news, he's been cleared to play!

In 2019, Nimmo batted .221/.375/.407 with 8 home runs and 29 RBIs in 69 games.
