The Yankees got a grand slam from Miguel Andujar, a three-run shot courtesy of Aaron Hicks and cruised to a 7-2 win up in Toronto on Tuesday night. The Mets, meanwhile, hosted the worst team (record wise) in baseball, and promptly lost to Buck Showalter’s Orioles, 2-1. Boomer and Gio got things rolling Wednesday morning by talking about the baseball locals. How good is this Yankees ballclub, and is there anyway -- anyway at all -- that the Mets can salvage their season? All of that and Gregg admits to getting the yips on the softball field because of his overwhelming desire to please his big, blond radio partner.
