So much for a Monday without football! The AAF debuted over the weekend, and early returns aren’t bad. Boomer and Gio got things rolling Monday morning by discussing the upstart football league, its affiliation with the NFL and what the future might hold.

Speaking of the NFL, the Jets have rounded out their coaching staff with the likes of Joe Vitt, who has a bit of a history with already-hired Gregg Williams, dating back to "Bountygate." Williams’ son, Blake, will serve as an assistant, while Jim Bob Cooter will be the running backs coach. With all of that settled, now the focus shifts toward free agency.
