Knicks To Host Bucks On Christmas Day

The Knicks will take part in a nationally-televised game against the Milwaukee Bucks on Christmas Day with a noon tip-off at Madison Square Garden. The Knicks have been regular participants in Christmas Day games. This season will be the 53rd time that the Knicks have be in action on Christmas Day, including 45 home games at The Garden.

This year's edition will be the first meeting between the Knicks and Bucks since Kristaps Porzingis tore his ACL on Feb. 6. It is unclear whether Porzingis will return before Christmas Day. ACL tears typically require 10-12 months of rehab.

As for the rest of the NBA's Christmas Day schedule:

The Houston Rockets will host the Oklahoma City Thunder at 3:00 p.m. EST. At 5:30 p.m. EST, the Boston Celtics will go head-to-head with the Philadelphia 76ers at TD Garden.

At 8:00 p.m. EST, LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers will travel to Oracle Arena to face the Golden State Warriors. The Utah Jazz and Portland Trail Blazers will close the Christmas Day schedule in Utah at 10:30 p.m.

The Knicks will open training camp on Sept. 24. Their first preseason game is a Oct. 1 road game against the Washington Wizards. The 2018-19 NBA regular season schedule is yet to be released.
