Jamal Adams On WFAN: 'We Need This Win'

USA TODAY Images
Jamal Adams joined Carlin, Bart and Maggie in his weekly spot to preview the Jets' Thursday night meeting against the Cleveland Browns.
The 1-1 Jets will be looking to rebound after losing to the Miami Dolphins in Week 2.
"We need this win," Adams said. "This is a big game that's going to give the team our mojo back and get the confidence back in the locker room. I think that we've got a great game plan. We're excited. Again, it's going to be a tough environment, a tough matchup going into Cleveland."

Thursday's game will be the Jets' third game in 11 days.
"It's really going to test us mentally and physically," Adams said. "We definitely got to be prepared for it. It's going to speak volumes if we go out there and handle our business."
Bart Scott described Adams as a "young leader."
The 22-year-old safety has recorded 13 tackles, one sack and one interception through the first two games of the 2018 season.
Oddsmakers have made Cleveland the favorite, despite their last victory coming on Dec. 24, 2016.
