Jets safety Marcus Maye suffered a fractured right thumb in Sunday's win over the Indianapolis Colts, WFAN's Brian Costello reported Monday.

It's unclear how long he will be sidelined, but he is expected to miss some time. Maye left the game in the third quarter and was seen wearing a cast on his hand after the game.

The Jets' second-round draft pick in 2017, Maye missed the first three weeks of the season with an foot injury. This season, he has 20 tackles, 1/2 sack and one interception, which he returned for 104 yards in the Week 5 win over Denver.

Maye's injury is another hit to the Jets' banged-up secondary, which was without cornerbacks Trumaine Johnson (quad) and Buster Skrine (concussion) against the Colts.
