The talented third-year linebacker was enjoying a strong season, totaling 74 combined tackles with three interceptions, five passes defended and a touchdown.

The suspension will cost Lee about $325,000 in salary.

The Jets will have to make a decision on Lee's fifth-year option this offseason. If they choose to pick the option up, Lee will earn a salary of $10.2 million in 2020.
