The Knicks' lack of effort in Milwaukee on Monday night left WFAN's Gregg Giannotti screaming at the top of his lungs Tuesday morning.

Listen to your team news NOW.

The Bucks crushed the Knicks 132-88, as Giannis Antetokounmpo needed just 14 minutes on the court to record a double-double. He finished with 29 points and 15 rebounds despite exiting with five minutes to play in the third quarter.

"The New York Knicks showed up to that arena like they wanted to get blown out," Giannotti said at the start of the "Boomer and Gio" show. "Like, 'Why are we even here? We can't compete with this team. We're not any good. So we'll just stand here and get mauled by the Milwaukee Bucks as they continue to have a magical season and we continue to be a joke.'"

The loss dropped the Knicks to 4-17 -- the worst record in the Eastern Conference. New York has now lost seven straight.

"I understand they're not good. Like, I get it," Gio said. "That's one of the best teams in basketball. But to stand around and let them do whatever they want is just like -- what happened to all that garbage we heard before the season about 'we're not gonna get pushed around and no one's gonna get in our face and we're gonna be like the '90s Knicks'? Bull crap! I mean, this is worse than last year. It is! Because I actually saw more effort from those terrible players last year than I did with these guys that are supposed to be competent professionals that would give you a little something.

"There were times where, I mean, it looked like loitering. Like David Fizdale got out the whiteboard and wrote 'loiter' on it. That's what it looked like!

"They were the Washington Generals last night," Giannotti said referring to the patsy team the Harlem Globetrotters regularly beat up on. " ... They were there as part of a story. It was like they were hired actors to showcase how good the Milwaukee Bucks are."

"Knicks fans, you can say what you want about us -- delusional, 'you guys think you're better than you are,' whatever, and maybe that stuff is true -- but one thing that we are, are a people who will not accept this anymore! Like, this is New York City! This is the team of New York City regardless of what you say about Brooklyn. And then you had a bunch of guys loitering out in Milwaukee while Giannis Antetokounmpo is basically with a blindfold on getting a quadruple-double last night. I mean, I can't even take it."

Boomer Esiason, Giannotti's co-host, said it's time for both Fizdale, as well as Devils coach John Hynes, to be fired. The Devils lost to Buffalo 7-1 on Monday night to fall to 9-13-4 -- last in the Metropolitan Division.

"You could tell it that the teams are not listening," Esiason said. "They're not playing. They don't have what the owner wants. The owner wants pride in their jersey. The owner wants pride and effort for their fans. You're selling these tickets, these tickets are expensive, and the teams are just absolutely dead as doornails. Just dead. And it's really pathetic."

Added Gio: "I don't know if changing the coach and getting rid of David Fizdale and bringing someone else is gonna help. I don't know if it will. But quite frankly, if I'm the head coach of a team like that, I don't even think that I deserve to have the job. I mean, that's as bad as it gets in pro sports."
