The Jets got the 2018 season off to a surpringly strong start, going 3-3 in the first six games of the year.

However the season has taken a turn for the worse since New York's Week 6 win over the Indianapolis Colts.

The Jets have gone 0-4 over the last month, all while failing to score more than 17 points in a game since the win over Indy.

The recent cold streak has lead to many Jets fans calling for the firing of head coach Todd Bowles. While early reports indicate Bowles' job is not yet in jeopardy, Mike Francesa does not think the fourth-year head coach will survive as the team's head coach for much longer.

"37-17 to the Vikings. 24-10 to the Bears. 13-6 to the [Dolphins>. 41-10 to the Bills. And that performance against the Dolphins was one that a coach has a lot of trouble surviving," Francesa said during Monday's opening of Mike's On. "And he followed it up with one where his team did not even show up against a quarterback who's coming off vacation, and a team that has been just a laughingstock. And to get beat 41-10 following up what happened the week before, is fatal...

"Do I think he's going to survive this? I don't, because he needed to back up what happened against Miami with something positive. Instead, it got as bad as it can get against a Bills team that they were 7.5-point favorites against. They don't show up. They get beat every which way. They give up a touchdown on two plays. The Bills hadn't had two plays like that in the whole season.... And from there it just got worse."
