The wheels are starting to fall off the Mets season and it's only mid-June. After losing yet again on Thursday to the Diamondbacks, the Mets have truly hit rock bottom. They have lost 11 of their last 12 games, and are now 28-37 and 10.5 games out of first place. It can't get much worse than it has gotten for this team.

The question now for this team is...time to start making trades and selling?

"There's no reason to even wait anymore," Chris Carlin said on WFAN's Carlin, Maggie, and Bart. "Hang up a shingle that says open for business and go to town and start unloading. There is no point anymore. What are you waiting for? There is no further evidence needed in this case. The defense rests. You're guilty of sucking."

The issue may be though that the guys the Mets want to maybe deal have no value right now.

"You have no trade value for Blevins whatsoever," said Maggie Gray on CMB. "You have no trade value for Jay Bruce whatsoever. You don't have any trade value even for Cespedes because he's injured. The only trade value you have is with your aces."

It's time the Mets are proactive...and not reactive.

"The Mets are reactive by nature," Carlin said. "They can't sit around on their hands and just wait for the other shoe to drop. Both shoes are on the ground."
