The NFL Divisional playoff round games kick off this weekend. The finale will be Friday at 4:40 on FOX when the Philadelphia Eagles travel to New Orleans to take on the top-seeded Saints. Charles Davis will be on the call alongside Kevin Burkhardt for the much-anticipated matchup.

Davis joined WFAN's Mike Francesa Wednesday to preview the matchup along with all the playoff matchups.

"A lot of people are looking at it from the standpoint of 'oh remember when the Saints beat them down4 48-7?' We have to always remember in this league you can throw out a lot of that stuff," Davis said on WFAN Wednesday.

"Those kind of weeks happen and then you look up weeks later and things change. I don't think this is as talented a team as last year for Philadelphia, but a lot of those guys that got destroyed in New Orleans that were on the field matured and played down the stretch. That in and of itself is a big help for Philadelphia. For some of them, that was their first time out there or being in that situation. Who would have thought that in the beginning of the year we would be talking about Tre Sullivan, Cre'Von LeBlanc, Avonte Maddox as being frontline defensive backs for Philadelphia. That's what we've got."

What can the Eagles do to try and stop the Saints after New Orleans blew them out in November?

"What I think we'll see is a combination of Malcolm Jenkins coming down out of the slot," said Davis. "He did it in his last game, obviously nothing worked well in that one. Maybe a little bit of linebacker. Jordan Hicks is a good cover linebacker when they put him on the field. He can take the shorter areas, Jenkins the deeper areas. We will also see a corner come over. They're going to treat him (Kamara) like a wide receiver in different sets. You got to take away what they do best. You got to take away Mike Thomas. You got to try and take away Kamara...and then live with the other guys stepping forward. Can Ted Ginn step forward? Can Tre'Quan Smith step forward? That pass rush that Dallas showed...Philadelphia is capable of it because Tim Jernigan is back and he occupies people. And when that happens, that means Fletcher Cox can go one-on-one. And Bennett coming off the edge, Brandon Graham. They have people capable of getting there. That will be fun to watch.
