The Yankees won again Tuesday night to earn their fourth win-in-a-row -- but the victory came at a cost. Aroldis Chapman was forced to leave the game in the 12th inning with a knee injury, adding to the Yanks’ extensive list of injuries.

This combined with the Red Sox losing their third straight, had Boomer & Gio discussing the Yankees at length on Wednesday morning's show. Despite all the injuries, the guys aren’t ruling out the Bombers catching Boston in the AL East – stay tuned.

The guys were also sure to bring up another softball triumph for the Boomer & Gio All-Stars, this time over in Matawan, New Jersey.
