With Gregg presumably preparing to board his boat, Boomer had Jerry Recco to his left on Monday morning, and the sports talk was flowing.

With the MLB trade deadline fast approaching, the guys got started with baseball, as the Yanks have already become buyers by adding Zach Britton and J.A. Happ and will more than likely be looking for more. The Mets, meanwhile, have some decisions to make with regard to some of their desirable assets.

Moving right along to the NFL, more specifically the Jets and their rookie signal-caller, Sam Darnold, who is still holding out over "offset language."
