You have to start wondering when will the Mets actually hit rock bottom. On Wednesday afternoon, the "not so Amazins" lost to the Braves 2-0, wasting yet another impressive outing from Jacob deGrom. Boomer and Gregg spent a good portion of Thursday’s show open discussing the mess that is the Mets and what appears to be a rather bleak future.

The Yankees' future is certainly bright, but nonetheless, they fell victim to a 19-year-old National at the Stadium. Nats rookie, Juan Soto homered twice in the Bombers’ 5-4 loss, and Gregg has concluded that he has a real tough time watching Sonny Gray pitch.
