Boomer & Gio spent Thursday morning reflecting on the local NFL football scene, a day after Le’Veon Bell chose the Jets, while Odell Beckham Jr. was busy packing his bags for a move to Cleveland.

They spend most of their open on the OBJ trade to the Browns and the future of the Giants franchise. What will the Giants do now with the 6th and 17th pick? Will they go out and draft Dwayne Haskins to become Eli Manning's successor? Will they get a pass rusher?

What is the plan of attack for the Giants? This seems to be a clear rebuild and hope for 2020 and beyond. There aren't a ton of names left in free agency, especially high-caliber players that the Giants can go out and sign, meaning it could come down to a heck of a draft haul. GM Dave Gettleman has to draft a young QB and get starting players around him this April.

It could end up being a rough season for the Giants. That will likely not be the case for the Jets. The feel in New York is that the Jets as of now are the kings of football, expected to be better than the Giants in 2019. With Le'Veon Bell now in the fold, how good will the Jets be? What's their next move?

Listen to the entire Boomer & Gio show open above.
