The Red Sox made pretty easy work of the defending champion Astros – winning the ALCS 4-1 -- and are now preparing to host Game 1 of the World Series on Tuesday night at Fenway Park.

Boomer and Gio kicked off this Football Friday edition of the morning show by discussing Boston’s magical run thus far. They talked about the Jets' big opportunity at home Sunday, when the 3-2-1 Vikings come to town. And after the Broncos battered Josh Rosen and the Cardinals to the tune of a 45-10 final score, Boomer doesn’t think the rookie quarterback is ready for the tremendous responsibility of being a starting quarterback in the NFL.

It’s a Friday, folks, so if you aren’t doing so already (you know who you are), go ahead and start actin’ like it.
