If the Chargers think traveling to the East Coast early to allow their internal body clocks time to adjust before Sunday's playoff game against the Patriots is a good idea, they might want to think again.

On Monday's "Carlin, Maggie and Bart" show, Bart Scott, a former Ravens and Jets linebacker, said spending the night in New England before games was "the worst experience ever" during his playing career.

Scott said Patriots fans in Providence, Rhode Island, where the team would generally stay, would routinely pull the hotel's fire alarm in the middle of the night or use microphones to shout things at players all night long.

"They're not bad fans; they're bad people," Scott said. "Like, if I saw some people in ... Providence, I would want to punch them in the face.

"If your team needs that much help, then they don't deserve the win, bro. Like, I think they're good enough by themselves. They don't need you to doing idiotic stuff, putting pressure on the fire department and the police department for some stupid stuff."
