Geno Smith is clearly still keeping tabs on his old team.

The quarterback who had a hand in ending Eli Manning's consecutive starts streak at 210 took to Twitter on Friday morning, hours after Manning and the Eagles were embarrassed by the Philadelphia Eagles, 34-13.

"Y’all owe my boy Mac an apology!!" tweeted Smith, now Philip Rivers' backup with the Chargers.

"Mac" is in all likelihood a reference to Ben McAdoo, the former Giants head coach who made the decision to bench Manning and insert Smith into the starting lineup instead in Week 13 last season.

McAdoo, along with general manager Jerry Reese, was fired the day after Smith's lone start, although Giants co-owner John Mara denied that the Manning benching was the reason behind that. Interim head coach Steve Spagnuolo went back to Manning for the rest of what turned out to be a 3-13 season.

Thursday night's loss dropped the Giants to 1-5 for the second straight year. Manning was 24-of-43 for 281 yards with no touchdowns and one interception.
