Aaron Judge Takes Batting Practice In Minnesota

Yankees Slugger Inching Closer To Return

September 10, 2018 - 4:31 pm

Aaron Judge was on the field Monday afternoon in Minnesota at Target Field, taking batting practice for the first time during his rehab.

The Yankees slugger is working his way back from a chip fracture in his right wrist, which has sidelined him since July 27.

Judge went through five rounds of BP Monday, showing no signs of discomfort. He nearly put one homer in the third deck in left-center.

Judge started hitting off a tee last Monday in Oakland.

Asked if the pain was completely gone, Judge said: “Pain’s not gone, it’s still broken.”

The Yankees hope they get their power-hitting right fielder back in the coming weeks before they try and go on an October postseason run.
