Aaron Judge Delivers 1st-Inning, 2-Run Homer To Give Yankees Lead

Aaron Judge rocketed a two-run home run to give the Yankees a 2-0 first-inning lead over the Oakland A's in the American League Wild-Card Game.

Judge took the first swing of the game for the Yankees and sent the ball into the left field stands the after Andrew McCutchen earned a lead-off walk.

The Liam Hendriks' pitch came off Judge's bat at 116 MPH and traveled 427 feet.

New York got off to an ideal start after Luis Severino breezed through the top of the first and Judge pushed the Bombers ahead.

Judge hit 27 home runs in 112 regular season games.

The Yankees went on to win the game 7-2 and will face the Boston Red Sox in the ALDS starting Friday night.
